4 Best Places to Travel This Summer and What to Pack

It’s hard to believe that summer is just around the corner but it is quickly approaching. Spring break has come and gone (for those of us who are still allowed to partake) and the monotony of our usual schedules is back in full swing. The only thing that brings us a little solace is the prospect of summer travel. Here is where we are going and what we are packing:

Nashville, Tennessee

This city is just as magical as everyone says. Fill your soul with the food that is made for it and go see all the sites that make Nashville famous. We promise, The Grand Ole Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and any of the countless walking tours are well worth the trip. If you’re not into the classic touristy vibe, you can’t go wrong by spending your entire trip with a cold beer and live music.

What to Pack:

When we travel to Nashville we always aim for casual chic. It’s the place to embrace all your favorite denims, plaids, and boots. That might sound cliché but what better place to tap into your inner country girl? Pair it all with boho accessories and you will fit right it.

Chopped Denim Skirt $44 | Raw Edge Plaid Top $35 | Boho Queen Necklace $25 | Pretty Little Floral Top $36 | Private Eyes $55 | Heel Click Perforated Bootie $65

Croatia’s Coast

Croatia is having a major moment right now. In fact it’s really more than a moment, the idyllic country has been on travelers’ lists for a while now and it’s easy to see the appeal. Places like Split and Hvar are popular with celebrities and tourists alike. In fact, Brad Pitt is planning to open a luxury resort in Zablance, a short ferry trip from Split, very soon. We suggest getting over there before it becomes crowded but if you want to be caught by the paparazzi make sure you’re camera ready.

What to Pack:

The sartorial agenda for Croatia should be all about ease. Whether you’re lounging on the beach all day, discovering the ancient ruins, or stalking the cast of Game of Thrones, you’re going to be reaching for easy dresses, light rompers, or denim shorts. Don’t forget Instagram worthy swimsuit cover-ups. We feel like this Life of The Party Cover-up (linked below) was made for this trip.

Miraval Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona

If you’re looking to embark on a journey of self-discovery a la Oprah Winfrey or simply just decompress, there is no better place on the map than Miraval. The scenery, full of mountains and breathtaking desert landscapes, is reason enough to book your flight but once you step onto the property you are instantly transported to a relaxation utopia. Check out their website here to see what we mean.

What to Pack:

Miraval is what atheleisure was invented for. Fill your bag with whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and at peace and snuggle up in cozy ponchos and kimonos for a night or after your afternoon massage.

Dome Fringe Poncho $62 | Maya Tote $86 | Hoodie Dress $45 | Tie Front Sweatshirt $38 | Beach Babe Crochet $70

Cuba

Americans are finally traveling to Cuba again after decades of not considering it an option. But as the U.S. flocks to Havana, we are more interested in checking out some of the smaller cities and the thriving culture surrounding them. Put cities like Santa Clara and Holguin on the top of your list; Jet Blue has just started to fly to both making it easier than ever to reach. The country is starting to change a lot and we can’t wait to immerse ourselves in the culture while we can. Just don’t forget to get your visa.

What To Pack:

When planning your wardrobe for a trip to Cuba, concentrate on comfort. You’ll be doing a lot of walking, salsa dancing at outdoor clubs, or even pulling an all-nighter in The Malecon so, though style is always at the forefront of our minds, we like to be prepared for every experience we might stumble on in the cobblestone streets.

The Callow Dress $72 | The In Crowd Sunnies $50 | Sosi Bakcpack $62 | Blushing Wrap Up Sandal $27
