Mode is excited to announce our involvement with Small Business Saturday, happening on November 26, 2016.  

Small Business Saturday was created in 2010 by American Express and is a special day where we are able to show our support and gratitude for small businesses in our local community.  In addition to Small Business Saturday, American Express has started a new movement, known as Shop Small, which encourages the community to celebrate and support small businesses EVERY day.  By purchasing items from local vendors, shops, and markets, we're able to help our amazing OKC community grow and thrive.

As newbies to the Shop Small scene, we were very excited to be asked to join the movement in 2016.  When we accepted the invitation, we were challenged to invite 3 more Oklahoma City businesses to participate with us.  Lucky for us, we have some amazing neighbors located in Midtown OKC, like Fit Circle, Black Scintilla, and Trade, so it wasn't difficult to get them on board.

So how exactly does it work? Any small business can sign up at shopsmall.com. American Express is the founder of small business Saturday and they do a wonderful job of making it fun and exciting for the retailers and customers. From free totes, pens, and buttons for the customers to multiple free advertising opportunities for the businesses, everyone enjoys. It is a time for the local communities to get out and support their local businesses and show some local love as we like to call it. We will be running a storewide sale and giving freebies with any purchase. We love our customers and love to be in the thriving city of Oklahoma City. The shopping scene is on the rise in OKC and we are excited to be a part of it.
